On a recent trip to Zürich, I came across the perfect bowl – it is not the bowl pictured above, (this photo was taken some years back in my cupboard), but it was similar in shape to the one on the right. It reminded me very much of ancient bowls I had seen in the Asian section of the Rietberg Museum but I was told by the owner of the little shop that it was an Astier de Villatte and promptly visited their website when I got home, to see flying tarot cards navigate the show… fun web-site and wonderful bowls.
