The Books

Books on nature feature widely in my library. I love the one on Fungi with illustrations by Beatrix Potter (a little treasure for anyone who doesn’t know her natural history depictions), then a whole series of booklets explaining families of plants, algae, wild flowers, birds, animals of the woods… to mention but a few.

Books have been the closest of friends as far back as I can remember.
