Apologies for my absence here @the water of recent. This was due to the illness and death of my mother, combined with a trip to Ireland for her funeral last week.

She was a wonderful woman, who touched the life of so many. In her memory, I would like to post one of her favourite sayings, reminding us that no act of kindness, no matter how small, ever goes unnoticed:

‘Give to the world the best you have and the best
will come back to you’
